A concert for Polio
Albert Sabin, a Rotarian, gave the first drops of vaccine with his own hands at the launch of Rotary's Polio Plus campaign in 1985.
For 25 years, Rotarians have dedicated their time and energy to eliminating polio from the planet and have contributed more than 350 million dollars and an incalculable number of volunteer hours to the vaccination of over 2 billion children in 122 countries.
Today, Rotary and its partners are on the verge of eradicating the tenacious disease, but a strong push is needed right now to deliver the decisive blow.
The finish line is near.
