Baptism of the saddle with the Rotaract of Morimondo
[Article by Silvia Lodi Pasini] – A special afternoon to experience the magic of the first meeting with the horse. Thus the RotarAct Club Morimondo Abbazia of president Marco Santagostino presented the beautiful initiative that on Saturday 17 May it organized in Vigevano for the children guests of the Casa di Accoglienza Madre Della Pieta Celeste.
The Baptism of the Saddle, as the initiative was prosaically defined, took place on Saturday afternoon at the headquarters of the Leonardesca equestrian company on Strada Chitola in Vigevano, with free entry for all. The company has made its horses available free of charge, to allow children without families who are guests of the shelter to experience the thrill of riding, while also extending the possibility to accompanying adults. At the end of the experience, which thrilled the little guests of the Casa di Accoglienza Madre della Pietà Celeste in Besate and not only them, a snack for everyone. "We are very happy to have managed to organize this day of leisure - commented the president of the Rac Marco Santagostino -. Doing good and helping those less fortunate is a mission for Rotary and for us young people of RotarAct who are its emanation. Today we made children happy and the smile of a child is the most beautiful thing that exists in the world".
