The 12th Edition of Rotary Historica presented: a concrete commitment to research and pediatrics in the area
The meeting was held on Wednesday 2 July official presentation of the 12th Rotary Historica, the charity event created by Rotary Club Morimondo Abbey, in collaboration for the second year with the Rotary Club Magenta (District 2042) and with i Rotaract Club Magenta and Rotaract Morimondo Abbey.
This year's initiative supports the Golgi Cenci Foundation, for an important research project of BIO BANK, and the Pediatrics department of Magenta Hospital, strengthening the clubs' commitment to the territory and the health of the little ones.
During the evening, the projects that will be financed thanks to Historica were illustrated, with the interventions of Dr. E. Poloni, del Biologist Dr. R. Ferrari of the Golgi Cenci Foundation and of Dr. S. Fiocchi, Director of Paediatrics and Neonatology of the Magenta Hospital, who shared the scientific and clinical details of the activities that will benefit from the contribution.
«Rotary Historica is now a consolidated event, a moment of authentic solidarity and participation» he declared Martina Forti, President of Rotary Club Morimondo Abbey, reinforcing what was presented by its creator, the member Paolo Ciprandi.
Also present were the respective presidents of the Rotaract clubs: Elena, President of Rotaract Club Magenta, And Carlotta, President of Rotaract Club Morimondo Abbey, who reiterated the desire of young Rotarians to be active protagonists in the organization and support of the initiative.
Antonio Pennino, President of Rotary Club Magenta, underlined how this second edition, in collaboration with the friends of the Rotary Morimondo, will be «certainly special and will allow us to do a lot of good in the area».
The appointment and for the event is set for Saturday 13 September 2025, with official departure from City of Magenta, on the occasion of Regional Bersaglieri Gathering. To make the event even more special will be the musical participation of Fanfare Cav. Gr. Cr. Ambrogio Locatelli from Abbiategrasso, who will play together with the participants for a moment of sharing celebration.
This year the technical partnership is entrusted to Milano Historic Cars Club, who will collaborate in the organization and logistics of the event. Furthermore, the event obtained the official patronage of ACI Milan, confirming the attention and support of the world of historic motoring and quality mobility.
During the presentation evening, a new member of the company was also enthusiastically welcomed Rotary Morimondo Abbey: Welcome Sara Valandro, symbol of a growing and increasingly committed Rotarian community.
