12th Rotary Historica Vintage Car Gathering – Saturday 13 September 2025: a record-breaking event!
The 12th Rotary Historica Vintage Car Gathering, which took place on Saturday 13 September, was an extraordinary event, with record numbers that exceeded all expectations. As many as 70 vintage cars and 180 participants animated the streets of Magenta, transforming the day into a real celebration of passion for motors and solidarity.
The event, organized with the support of the Rotary Club of Magenta and its supporters, had a very specific objective: to raise funds for the Pediatric Department of the Magenta Hospital and for the Golgi Cenci Foundation, demonstrating once again how Rotary knows how to combine friendship and passion for cars with concrete actions for the benefit of the community.
Special thanks go to the patronage of the Automobile Club Milano, which saw the presence of the new president Pietro Meda, confirming the strong link between the world of historic cars and the institutions. Furthermore, the technical partner Milano Historic Cars Club and Youngtimer Club Milano contributed with its expertise, making the gathering an impeccable event.
The emotion was palpable right from the start, when the vintage cars paraded through the streets of Magenta accompanied by the Bersaglieri, on the occasion of the Regional Rally. A symbolic moment that made the gathering even more special, combining tradition and passion in an embrace that involved the entire community.
Equally exciting was the guided tour of the Villa Visconti Borromeo Arese Litta in Lainate, a true architectural jewel dating back to the 16th century.
Finally, the location chosen for the evening was much appreciated.
The “Olio” restaurant in Origgio made its “greenhouse” available, where an excellent dinner was served followed by awards ceremonies and an engaging “dancing evening”.
Before dinner it was also possible to visit what can be considered a real "vintage car museum", present in the same restaurant; a visit much appreciated by all participants in the gathering.
This is, in short, the spirit of Rotary: friendship, passion and solidarity at the service of the community. An event that will remain in the hearts of all participants and which demonstrated how, through our commitment, truly significant results can be achieved.
