Rotary Club Morimondo Abbey

On April 19, a moment of great human and social value took place: a delegation from the club went to CAF – Centro Aiuto Minori e Famiglie – for the delivery of the "Ambrogio Locatelli National Medal, Ambassador of Friendship and Solidarity".

The initiative represented not only a symbolic recognition, but also a concrete gesture of support. The significant economic contribution offered by the Locatelli family and the Rotary Club Morimondo Abbazia, in fact, will be destined to the project "La Cura Psicologica", aimed at young people between 13 and 21 years old.

This is a project of fundamental importance, which aims to guarantee adequate psychological support to preadolescents and adolescents from particularly fragile family contexts. In a delicate age such as adolescence, being able to count on professional support is a key element to promote personal growth, emotional well-being and the construction of a more serene future.

The delegation was greeted with great warmth by the head of the centre, an educator and some young guests of the structure. The meeting took place in an atmosphere of sincere sharing: the young people offered those present a snack, creating a convivial moment that allowed everyone to get to know each other better and spend a particularly pleasant hour together.

This meeting demonstrated once again how the collaboration between associations, families and local realities can generate a concrete and positive impact, helping to support those in difficult situations and to build bonds based on solidarity, listening and attention to the other.
