Rotary Club Morimondo Abbey

After the fruitful meeting on April 16 at the IIS Alessandrini in Abbiategrasso, during which Rotary and Rotaract Morimondo Abbey had presented the values of the service to students and illustrated the Interact project, the initiative has reached an important milestone. Last June 10, at the headquarters of the Rotary Club Morimondo Abbey, the Official Ceremony of the Interact Morimondo Abbey of the IIS Alessandrini was held. The event marked the birth of the new youth club, the result of the enthusiasm and commitment shown by the students who chose to put themselves at the service of the community. In the presence of Rotary, Rotaract and family representatives, the founding members were introduced and the objectives of the new Interact were explained, which will promote solidarity, active citizenship and personal growth projects. The establishment of the club represents a significant example of collaboration between school and territory, capable of offering young people concrete training opportunities in the values of responsibility, leadership and volunteering. With the delivery of the Charter and the exchange of official emblems, the ceremony sealed the entry of the Interact Morimondo Abbey into the great Rotarian family, with the hope that this new path can involve more and more students in initiatives in favor of the community and help to form basis for creating the cyclamen of the future.
