🇨🇦 Rotary International Convention in Calgary
An experience that made us feel like citizens of the world
From 21 to 25 June 2025, over 15,000 Rotarians from all over the world gathered in Calgary, in the heart of Canada, for the Rotary International Convention. It was a time of great inspiration, sharing and global connection.
During the intense days of the Convention, we were able to listen to speakers of the highest level, capable of touching the heart and sparking profound reflections on our role as Rotarians and active citizens of the world.
🇮🇹 Italian Pride: Francesco Arezzo International President 2025-2026
Among the strongest emotions experienced in Calgary, it is impossible not to mention the great pride for Italy, represented with passion, competence and humanity by our Francesco Arezzo, appointed the next International President of Rotary. The warmth and unity of the Italian delegation were palpable, and the support expressed for Francis was heartfelt and moving. A truly historic moment for all of us.
🏡 The House of Friendship: the beating heart of the Convention
Walking through the House of Friendship, we experienced first-hand the profound meaning of Rotarian friendship. A lively, welcoming place, full of projects, ideas, testimonies and smiling faces. It is there that the distance between continents is canceled out and that magic that only Rotary can create takes shape: the strength of service through human connection.
🌍 United in diversity: the words of Stephanie Urchick

Next stop: Taipei 2026 🇹🇼
Calgary's enthusiasm now accompanies us towards the next great adventure: the 2026 International Convention in Taipei, Taiwan. Registrations are already open, and we can't wait to meet once again, ready to grow, learn and make a difference together.
"I return home from Calgary with a suitcase full of emotions, faces, stories and new energy. Rotary is much more than an organization: it is a global family. And every Convention is a celebration of what unites us." – D. Carnevali – President AR 2024/25
