“Let's talk to each other”: experiences, training and Rotarian spirit

The evening of last October 7th represented an important opportunity for the members of our Rotary Club to meet and share, in the name of friendship, training and the Rotarian spirit.

The first moment was dedicated to the recent trip to Helsinki, an experience full of emotions, memories and significant moments. President Emiliano Costantini and the other participants told members who were unable to attend the main events of the trip, sharing images and impressions.

Particularly appreciated was the warm welcome received from the "twins" of the Rotary Club of Finland Hall, a concrete testimony to the value of the relationships of friendship and collaboration that unite Rotarians even beyond national borders. An experience that allowed us to fully grasp the international dimension of Rotary and the growth opportunities it offers.

The second part of the evening gave space to the traditional "Rotarian training pills". The protagonist was member Vanessa Locatelli, president appointed for the Rotary year 2028-2029, who addressed with brilliance and an innovative and pragmatic approach the topic of values, aspirations and objectives that must guide being a Rotarian today.

A stimulating speech, aimed at remembering how belonging to Rotary is not only a source of pride, but also a concrete commitment towards the community, based on shared principles and the desire to make a difference.

In the last part of the meeting, member Fiorenzo Bernazzani illustrated the main contents of the Club's website, focusing on its functions and the information available. The invitation, addressed above all to the most recent members but valid for all, was to consult it more assiduously, to stay updated on the activities and initiatives of the association.

To confirm the quality of the work carried out, the president finally reported the compliments received from the Governor of another district for the completeness, accuracy and timely updating of the site.

An evening, therefore, which was able to combine the pleasure of meeting with the sharing of experiences and personal growth, strengthening that sense of belonging which constitutes the heart of Rotarian life.
