The news of an ambitious project

The construction of the new District 2050 site is a rather ambitious project.
It was first necessary to redefine thegraphic appearance  to make it more consistent with thecurrentRotary International website (but distinguishable from it).
The  layout  (the layout) of the site was created to be "responsive" (responsive) and allow optimal use even "on the move", through one  smartphones  or a  tablets.
Particular attention was also paid toaccessibility  of the site by people with visual and/or motor disabilities.

THE'site architecture  and the  navigation  have been redefined according to criteria  usability, with the aim of effectively managing the considerable amount of information inherited from the "old" site (which has so far only been partially inserted) and which will be provided by the clubs and commissions. From this perspective, new "dynamic" components have already been integrated: through the appropriate  administrative interface  club secretaries have the opportunity to directly update the information that appears on the site, such as  profile  of the club, i  projects  of service carried out and the calendar of  convivial.
Coming soon also  news  will be managed through a special database, and also the  commissions  they will have the opportunity to directly manage the information under their responsibility.

How to contribute to the creation of the site and ensure that it works "at full capacity" as soon as possible

The creation of a site can be complex from a technical point of view, but the bottleneck is often, as in this case, constituted by  preparation of information.

Committee leaders are invited to prepare and  send to webmaster  the material they would like to see published on the site, according to homogeneity criteria. The webmaster may not have the time and therefore not even the task of re-examining the information in detail or looking for new information: for this reason it is important that he receives the  information already organized so that it can be published directly.

The same criterion applies to the club managers. Furthermore, clubs are invited through their secretaries, who hold the credentials for  access the reserved area, to  update the information  of their competence, so that the site is richer and more current.

Notice an error? Do you know any resources that you think would be useful to “link”?  Write to the webmaster. Also write to him if you like the site. It will surely please him.
