“Tuberculosis can be stopped” – Prof. Giorgio Besozzi – 11 June 2025
Last June 11, a meeting of great social and health importance was held at the headquarters of the Morimondo Abbazia Rotary Club.
President Giorgio Besozzi presented his international organization "STOP TB", committed to the fight against tuberculosis. The theme of the evening, “Together we can stop Tuberculosis”, emphasized the need for collective commitment against a disease that is still too widespread in the world. Particular importance was given to initiatives aimed at social and work reintegration for now recovered patients.
During the event, testimonies of the recent twinning with the Mühldorf club were shared, an occasion that strengthened international ties and the spirit of collaboration between Rotary. An evening dedicated to commitment, solidarity and concrete action.
