Rotary Club Morimondo Abbey

Last April 16th, at the IIS Alessandrini in Abbiategrasso, a significant meeting took place between students and local realities.
At the invitation of the school director Michele Raffaeli, a delegation from Rotary and Rotaract Morimondo Abbazia visited the institute.
The event was held in the main hall, in the presence of all the students.
Club representatives explained Rotary's role globally.
The founding values of the organization were highlighted, including solidarity and service.
Ample space was dedicated to the humanitarian activities promoted around the world.
The students were able to understand the concrete impact of these initiatives.
Subsequently, the organizational structure of Rotary was explored in greater depth.
Particular attention was paid to the individual contribution towards the common good.
It emerged that young people can also play a fundamental role in social change.
We then moved on to the presentation of Interact.
This program involves children between the ages of 12 and 18 in service activities.
The possible creation of an Interact club within the institute has been proposed.
Some students showed concrete interest in the initiative.
The shared hope is to implement this project soon, encouraging the active participation of young people.
